COUNSELLING SUPERVISON
As a counselling supervisor, I am dedicated to providing high-quality supervision and support that empowers trainee counsellors to reach their full potential as ethical, competent, and compassionate practitioners. My approach to supervision emphasizes a collaborative and reflective process, aiming to foster the growth and competence of supervisees while ensuring ethical and effective counselling practice.
My supervision approach is integrative, drawing from various theoretical orientations and evidence-based practices to tailor supervision to the unique needs of each supervisee. I prioritize creating a supportive and non-judgmental supervisory environment where supervisees feel empowered to explore challenges and seek feedback. I use the Seven-Eyed Model, this model is about inviting a diversity of views and perspectives. It combines both the psychodynamic as well as systems understanding of how things connect.
My supervisor experience covers working with both young people (13 years +) and adults, covering a wide range of issues such as abuse, anxiety, attachment issues, bereavement, borderline personality disorder, bullying, depression, loneliness, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, mental health issues, relationships, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.
I offer in-person (Cambridgeshire) and online supervision (nationwide), working individually and with groups.
"Supervision is an opportunity to bring someone back to their own mind, to show them how good they can be" - Nancy Kline
